Product Development InterDev has been focussed on providing specialised professional consulting services focussing mainly on software integration. Whilst providing its professional services, InterDev recognised that in the last 2-3 years, wireless data networks and portable devices have evolved considerably.

It has also realised that this evolution has been focused on the large masses of retail consumers, with games, personal productivity, online web browsing typically via Wireless Access Protocol (WAP), music and entertainment being the main themes. The commercial market was being neglected. Little focus was being given to the complex needs of commercial organisations when considering the utilisation of the network and device attachments, hence opening an opportunity for someone to provide specialised software solutions to this market.

As a result, Interdev Australia Pty Ltd was incorporated to conduct research and development to deliver innovative software integration solutions for the commercial world, firstly focussing on a software ‘middleware’ package to be known as Xmotion^®. This will allow InterDev to offer a product oriented solutions approach to its customers in addition to its professional services.  Considerable interest has been shown internationally by Systems Integrators, mobile hardware platform vendors and VARS. In addition, Independent Software Vendors have shown considerable interest due to Xmotions ‘application ready' framework..
